my favourite photograph is from http://life.time.com/history/v-j-day-ki ... 14-1945/#1 called "V-J Day, 1945: A Nation Lets Loose."
The photo is of a sailer returning from war and grabbing a girl off the street and kissing her. I love this photograph as it was captured in a day of celebration and was an in the moment photo.

This is my favourite photo because it captures the calm and vibrant parts of the wave all in one. It also draws you deeper into the background through the wave with contrasting colours and depth.

I like this photo because the way the water and the sand run together is really cool
