Photopolymer Plates

At Magna-Tech Graphics Inc. , we determine the exact factors for plate elongation associated with flexographic printing. We utilize precision equipment to calibrate compensation factors within .001" used in the preparation of our film for production of flexographic printing plates. The result is a superior product made to quality-controlled specifications.

Combining both strength and durability, photopolymer plates are produced for water, oil or alcohol-based inks. We have 5 photopolymer systems to suit your needs. Plates can be produced on our sheet system which include rotary, inline and orbital with our high definition, single source exposure unit which offers the finest, sharpest image possible. Our material choices include Epic, Cyrel and Basf in varying thickness from .045" to .250" for water and alcohol based inks. We also offer a liquid system (Hercules/Merigraph) in any thickness from .028" to .250" for water and oil based inks primarily for printing jobs on corrugated boxes and on newsprint, such as bingo cards, pocket books, etc.. Aside from photopolymer plates being used for printing, Foundries will take interest in their use as casting moulds for bronze plaques because they come complete with textured backgrounds.
